Hi everyone, this is a quick morning update because I might not be able to report tonight. The satellite communication gear we use to send reports needs to be set up on the beach because it needs to stay very still. A rolling boat is not very still.
We are currently steaming "around the corner", which is the Tassie fishing boat captain's way of saying we are sailing right around the southern tip of Tasmania!
Poor Theo is feeling pretty green and lots of other people are starting to feel seasick too. Getting to the remote south west of Tasmania is quite tricky. Have a look at this Google map, it shows the route we are taking.
The boat captains think the weather is going to get worse for a while so we will probably anchor tonight at Telopea or maybe Cox's Bight.
Hopefully the weather on Monday will be good enough so we can round South West Cape and make it to Port Davey.
