What an adventure today was!

The Cleanup for Middle Primary Day 9 : 25-02-2017
Weather says no
The day started in the beautiful calm of Bathurst Harbour. We sailed back out to sea through Bathurst Channel and Port Davey. As we anchored the boats near Noyhener Beach the wind, waves and rain arrived! We raced the waves into shore in our speedy little inflatable boats.
As we cleaned up beautiful Noyhener Beach the rain stopped but the waves got bigger and bigger.
We loaded the rubbish into the little boats and they just made it out through the crashing waves to unload onto the big boats, however the waves were too dangerous for passengers.
We walked a long way through bushes, swamps, beaches and rocks to get back to Spain Bay where the sea was calmer and one of the boats could pick us up.
We sailed through rough waters around Southwest Cape, spotting 5 species of albatross along the way. We finally anchored in the calm of New Harbour, gobbled our dinner and fell fast asleep.
Nearly there now, our last report will be posted tomorrow to end and epic Southwest adventure.
